Apostle Island Yacht Charter Association
Only about 4 hours drive from the Twin Cities is one of the most beautiful, relatively unspoiled sailing areas in America - The Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.
All of the islands, except Madeline, are part of the U.S. National Park System. They provide many miles of uninhabited shoreline, secluded anchorages, old lighthouses and trails to explore. The U.S. Park Service maintains camping areas and nature trails in as pristine a condition as they can.
In addition, there are some docks with limited space available for visiting some islands. Although you could sail in the Apostles for years and still discover something new each time, for the adventurous there are other destinations of interest: Isle Royale National Park, Black River Harbor, Michigan & the Porcupine Mountains, Minnesota's & Canada's North Shore or the Keweenaw Peninsula to name just a few.
Sail the beautiful Apostle Islands from our base at the Madeline Island Marina. Bareboat and captained charter services available for a day or a month. Check out our fleet listing of power and sail yachts from 23' to 45'.
Sailing through the unparalleled beauty of the Apostles with a group of friends is an economical way to spend a summer weekend. We can arrange multiple yacht/corporate charter events to suit your needs. A cruise with a captain aboard allows beginning sailors to join a group of like-minded people to enjoy the thrills of sailing and exploring the Apostle Islands.
