PDQ 42 Antares

The PDQ 42 Antares was developed with substantial input from PDQ owners who wanted a larger boat than their present Capellas or Altairs, but who could not find the values they appreciated in their PDQs in boats from other builders. While taking advantage of innovations and the greater size, the PDQ design team established certain target characteristics to maintain the PDQ flavor, namely: good performance under sail or power, comfort underway and at anchor, primary safety through professionally engineered structures and manageable sail-handling gear, secondary safety through watertight bulkheads and energy-dissipating structures, and good looks with North American style.
