The cruising grounds are a sailors paradise and include the islands of Skopelos, Alonissos, Skiathos, Pelagos,Skyros and the adjacent Greek mainland. The climate is perfect throughout the summer months with the normal winds from the north at between Force 3 to 5

Sapphire yachting are members of the British Marine Federation and a recognised RYA Sailing School

All yachts are fully coded under the Greek regulations for yacht charter and come with full safety equipment and extensive inventories.

Sapphire Yachting will collect you from the airport, 'show you the ropes', advise on the best anchorages, BBQ bays and local facilities and technically support your yacht throughout the holiday. They have technical agents on all the Islands in the Sporades and offer full support.

Stewart is the principal of Sapphire Yachting and runs the full programme of RYA Courses from Start Yachting to RYA/MCA Yachtmaster. RYA Shore based courses and VHF/DSC training and exams.
