Sailmithril
Mithril is a 50 ft. steel ketch designed by van der Stadt and built in 1991. She is fully equipped for ocean voyaging with all necessary safety gear.
Mithril's owners Peter and Geraldine have sailed more than 150,000 miles and have 21 years experience of sailing and voyaging the world's oceans.
Mithril has circumnavigated in the Roaring Forties visiting Cape Horn, Falkland Islands and in 2002 Mithril became the first ever Irish boat to sail to the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia.
This winter we are in Gran Canaria and in April will make a 3 week cruise to the Azores - an ocean passage and coastal sailing in both island groups.
