Quest For Life
Sail on a superb safe comfortable modern ocean going yacht in fantastic scenery visiting islands and seeing wildlife. Having proven herself by sailing around the world our yacht Seventh Wave, a 49ft Halberg Rassy, is now available for you to charter. She has full safety equipment and complies with the MCA code of practice for the safety of small commercial sailing vessels. Her skipper has sailed for 18 years on the West Coast of Scotland.
A very wide variety of people sail with us from young to old, experienced sailors to total novices. Where possible, and resources permitting, those who cannot afford the full costs are subsidised and the costs for sailing with us are kept to very reasonable rates.
A friendly high quality personal service is given, with good food provided. People can choose to help with the sailing of the boat or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
Cruises are tailored to the needs and expectations of the group and every effort is made to cater for each groups particular needs. The aim is that everyone enjoys, rather than endures, their time with us.
The West Coast of Scotland is one of the best places in the world to sail. The scenery is wonderful (including the whales, seals and birds), the sailing exhilarating and with many sheltered waters conditions don’t have to be too demanding. Exploring the islands of the Hebrides is fascinating.
