58 Degrees North Failté – Welcome to Sailing in the Outer Hebrides.
Picture yourself cruising, aboard a sailing boat, amongst the beautiful and wild coastlines of the West Coast of Scotland. See the Outer Hebrides the way the Vikings saw them an archipelago of ruggedly beautiful islands.
Each day brings fresh vistas, new excitement and every chance of sighting some of Britain’s untamed and diminishing wildlife; whales, sharks, dolphins, seals, red deer, otters and over twenty five species of birds, including sea eagles.
All this aboard our purpose refitted 67 foot (20 metre) boat, 58°N. Originally designed to sail in the BT Global Challenge, as 'Time and Tide', she has all the pedigree and after her refit she is a comfortable fast cruiser.
Cruise in one of the last wilderness areas left in Europe, where you can call your evening anchorage your own, enjoy seafood from the waters you are sailing on and eat meat and vegetables from the islands you are sailing amongst.
A unique and memorable adventure, not to be missed.
